Ear Zone Therapy

Auricular therapy is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) where points on the ear correspond to points on and in the body.  These points (200 on the ear alone) are stimulated to treat a number of issues and medical research is ongoing but so far many treatments have been medically researched and have proven positive effects.  All treatments are based on a combination of TCM and Western therapy principles and techniques to enable maximum effect and results.

Issues I treat; Anxiety, Sleep, Cravings/Addictions, Weight management, Neck and shoulder pain, Headaches, Digestive issues, Depression, Allergies, Sinus issues, Tinnitus, Sexual and reproductive function including menopause and fertility, Sciatica.

As with all my treatments I do not break the skin, so this replaces the commonly understood form of acupuncture.  First I will assess your body by reading your face, taking pulses and checking the ears.  Then I place small circular seeds on the TCM points specific to your treatment which you wear for anything from 3-5 days at a time.  You press on the seeds three times a day each day between treatments stimulating the body to rebalance and heal. 

As a stand alone treatment it involves an oil free massage of the neck, scalp (including forehead) and ear area followed by placement of the seeds.

The twenty minute treatment is a fantastic add on to any of the other treatments I offer and in combination with any other Zone Therapy it really enhances the healing and rebalancing effects of the treatment.

The First treatment is always an hour and follow up treatments can be shorter, depending on the treatment plan weekly follow ups are common.  I place standard seeds on the ear but can place for an additional cost; clear plaster seeds of plated silver or plated 24ct gold.

The First appointment MUST be an hour.  You can then choose to continue with hourly treatments OR;
